I remember seeing a thread or magazine article in the past six months or so with a really slick way of installing dash gauges angled toward the driver? Anyone recall seeing anything? Have a friend doing a custom Scrambler build that has ideas of angling all the gauges. Dash is an aluminum panel.
Just use a piece of tubing the correct ID to fit over the gauges, cut it at the desired angle on one end, straight on the other with a same size hole in the dash to weld the tubing to....
As i recall, there are angled inserts available.
I used the aluminum ones you can get at the boat shops

autometer sells them too. i do not believe they are aluminum though.
