Neat new shifter indicators from Lokar

I was browsing cable shifters to try and remember how to reconnect my setup, since the photo I took seems to be hiding from me, when I came across these new shifter boots, for floor mounted automatics. I don't recall seeing these last year, but they seem to work with just about any auto transmission, and shifter. Here are a few shots of different ones available just because I thought they were cool, and nice to use at night to figure out what gear you really are in!

They have had floor and dash shift indicators for several years but I think they have recently added new designs and the black annodised one. They look a lot nicer now than when the first came out. I wouldn't mind having one of the dash mounted ones if I could find a spot along my vision line to place it.

I used to have a floor shifter that had the indicator built in but it was a standard unit from a car (T-handled unit) and I did not like having to look down at the floor all of the time to see if I was in the proper gear, so i replaced it with a Lokar 16" unit. Back then they didn't have the add on indicators.

I just put one of the round vertical ones in a customer car. it seemed ok but I too don't like to have to look at the floor for the indicator. Dash mount would be better. The unit and the sender are about $180 I think. Wish there was something less expensive. Some of the digital dashes have the indicator built in so you only have to get the sender. You still pay for it in the end however.
