Model A door window glass removal
Recently purchased a steel bodied 1930 Model A 5 window coupe. The glass in the driver's side door is badly cracked. What is the best way to remove it. Should I take out the brace with the stop that is rivited on and remove the whole mechanism or is there a better way? Thanks for any advice

Take a look at the top of the door. On the tudors a trim piece on the top of the door is removeable and the glass come out the top. I think coupes are the same. Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious.

Yup,take the screws outa the top of the door and remove the top (trim, top window channel) Your glass will slide right out the top.

Thanks
Thanks for the info. This is my first Model A, so I'm sure I'll be asking more questions as I continue fixing all the little things that need fixed.
Thanks again
Doug
