Might be a little late now, but you should have welded in some bracing first before you cut the top off to keep things from moving around, and it does move around a lot if you don't.

From what I can see you have no braceing in the car and it looks like no frame. I would get things back the way they belong with jacks comalongs long clamps what ever it takes Then reattach it to your frame. Looks like someone was making a convertable out of it.
