paint questions
Hey Room - Just a few questions - What is the best primer and paint for chassis, rearend, and front end parts that I can get in a spraycan? And where can I find it? Also if brake discs have been sandblasted to remove rust should the surfaces be machined before installing? Thanks in advance:3dSMILE:

I know your probably looking for a spray can because its easy but the truth is that stuff just dont hold up! My recomondation is Por-15. So far I have had great luck w/ the stuff and it goes on really smooth w/ a paint brush.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, most people like to help, others just reply so the can try to be the class clown.

I wouldn't use a spray can primer. The best primers have a hardener with them and you don't get that in a spray can. Epoxy primer is great once you have clean prepped metal, and polyurethane paint is tough. Powdercoating would be the ultimate. I assume you are talking about the rotors, I am not sure but I would think you would want a smooth machined surface so It doesn't wear down the pads.

I agree - use epoxy primer & a catalized painy.....Don
