Are you the seller?
No I`m not the seller of the item but I`m thinking to buy it. I never read anything about Italmeccanica.

Although these Roots-type blowers were sometimes used on flathead Fords, they were much too small to provide any substantial manifold pressure on a 4 liter motor. As I remember it, flatheads worked way better with a 3-71 or 4-71 GMC.
I would bid up to USD200 for it just to box it up in Lucite and have a conversation piece in the garage. I'd never seriously think about using it on a motor of any kind. The rotors could have been manufactured up to 60-70 years ago and I wouldn't be interested in twisting 'em up.
If I were looking for a Roots-type blower for a smaller motor, I'd be looking at the small Weiand 142 blower. It displaces 142 cubic inches (2.3 liters) per revolution and is a current production unit with all new parts.
