never did much like them "black-box" shifters that are out there. id stick with something simple and easy a hurst quater stick.
Used a F body console model and adapted it to a 4T60 FWD. Took some getting use to for the reverse detent, park to drive and back again to park - but the upshift from low to sec, etc. is really positive and sure - unlike a stock shifter. D
i have the mega in my poncho,, i like it, but as dwayne said, takes a little getting use to it.. works good though..
I've got the Light Truck Mega shifter in my 46 on a T350.
Works good. Very positive. Once you get used to the reverse lockout, you really don't even think about it.
I think I have the star shifter in the chevelle, it is fine.
I would recomend a ratcheting shifter versus the quarter stick and pro stick. I have had the quarter stick, pro stick models while shifting to second, pass through 3rd and go into neutral when the lever is not fully seated. Thats a bad situation when you are at 7000 RPM at wide open throttle and slipping into neutral instead of third. That is just my personal opinion and experience. I took the quarter stick out last summer, skipped it across the drive way and put in the pro ratchet shifter.

Mooneye , I know about slaming third and into neutral. You see dollar bill signs  Especially with no rev eliminator. Scare crap out you.

Check summit out. They are selling BM shifters on sale for the next day or so.
