Easy cure is to install one of the inline fuel filters with a check valve that will not allow the fuel to drain back when the engine isn't running. I also use them on the vent lines for the rear end on go fast cars, lets the pressure out, but won't suck dirt in...... NAPA store sells the filters here locally........
