The only problem is when you strip emissions contorls off the engine you will not have the engine running properly ,it may even run in a limp mode and open loop all the time take the egr off and the car may ping, etc, the ecu is programmed for these items, there are things like the "tweecer" out there which I use on my 1992 mustang which you can use your laptop to rewrite the program to the ecu then you can eliminate what you want , and adjust a ton of other things, you can see these at tweecer.com, and some other programs I use with my tweecer are Binary Editor and EEC analyzer. (eecanalyzer.net) you can down load the programs and look at them but can't use them till registered

Best i had the one Dave sent but also crashed . Here is a link to the conversion questions . I know there is a company in Cali who sell the puter and harness ready to install . Fox something just cant remember it all if i do i get a link to your PM box .
