what size a/c needed
hi to all
I have a 1936 Chevy sdn. I am going to install a/c unit. for those that have sedans. I would like to know what size unit and company that you went through. if you have photos of how you installed the unit that you could send that would be great.
thanks for any and all helpLast edited by 36chevymaster; 10-30-2008 at 02:18 PM.

I recommend either Vintage Air or Hot Rod Air. And for the 36 you got, you will need their largest unit. Mine has Airtique but they are out of business, so when I replace I will go to one of the two mentioned and even though my 34 sedan is probably a little smaller than yours on the inside, I too will need one of the large units. You should have dealers for both local to you. If not, Vintage Specialties out of Gettysburg sells both.Bob

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
