I have to agree with skids on this one,Only because of my experince with heavy metal. I ran a 71 Charger that weight 4200pds. I ran a 440 that had been worked over real good. It had 600hp. 410 dana 60 w/posi, good set of traction bars with N50 ties. Torqueflight 727, with shift kit and 3400 stall.
It was all I could do to get in to the 12's. I don't want to rain on any parades
BBmonte it takes alot of cubes and alot of hp to get heavy metal rolling.
I can't see any thing less then at least a 14 or a 15. Like Tech said in some other threads with heavy cars its all about building big torque. This was in the 1/4 mile. Sorry KurtLast edited by vara4; 10-11-2008 at 10:29 AM.
