That would be my guess too. They are making them in various degrees of flatness these days to drop the front a little. The purple frame below (NOT PINK!) has a stock model a front crossmember, and the second picture is a new one that came out recently that is just about totally flat. Yours appears to be somewhere in the middle of the two IMO. The 6-7 degree back slant is just about right so that it lines up with your caster angle. I see no reason why this would not work for you, and if you wanted, you could fabricate some front horns to cap off the tubing. If that interests you, post it here, and I will post some pictures of how we did that.
