could use some help with fuel sending unit
okay I got my gas tank made and now its time for the sending unit.
does anybody know what ohms the original 6 volt sending unit should read empty and full I baught a universal sender and it is 240 ohms emty and 33 when full. I cant seem to get any readings from the old rusty one and dont feel like instaling the wrong one only to do it again.

Is there any way you can hook up the sending unit to fuel gage, and then move it from full to empty to see if you get a full sweep of the gage?I ain't dumb, I just ain't been showed a whole lot!

thats the plan, I've been told from another forum that it is 0 to 30 ohms and I believe I found one that will fit my custom tank. thanks for the help
