Of course!!!!:D
I've been tossing the idea around in my head to host a very casual barbeque for the visitors if there's any interest. I know most folks come to town with a full agenda, but if there were enough interest I'd be happy to pull it together. The guy who painted my Dodge used to have one each year at his shop (mostly folks on another forum) and it was a great chance to put a face to the screen persona and easier to have a nice conversation that didn't involve typing. If it's of interest let me know who, what date/time would be best (I suggest a late afternoon to evening thing), and how many. I'd plan on burgers and brats with the usual trimmings, unless someone has special food requirements (hey, we're flexible!:) ).
I have what may be a dumb question, and if it is I appoligise now, but isn't SEMA an invite only gig? If so, how does one get invited? I own a custom paint shop and have hundreds of customers all over the country and a few outside the US (2 bikes in Austrailia, 1 in Italy, 1 in Germany and 2 in Canada...) I would LOVE to go and check out all the hot new stuff, but not sure on the details..Anybody???
Well I'm embarrassed, :o I'm a member of SEMA but my marketing department sets it up for me every year, I just show up. I bet Uncle Bob knows.

Thats sounds like fun, if I can help do anything let me know. I'm going for 2 days, if you decide to do this let me know so I can make accommodations to get there on the right day.Quote:

Go here to get the particulars and register if you wish; http://www.semashow.com/main/main.as...OWcom/HomePage
When you check in the first time they'll want to see some proof that you are legit to the business you name; e.g. business card with a name that matches your photo ID, business letterhead, or such. Once you demonstrate that, you become a "legacy" participant as long as you register each year. At this late date you may want to contact them by phone to see if your pass will be mailed in time, or if you should have it at the will call window when you get there.
Ken, we'll have to see if there is any interest, if so I'll let you know as early as I'm able so you can plan accordingly.
Thanks for the info guys! I will probably have to pass this year, as we didn't get any time off scheduled and we have a pretty steady workload for the next couple of months, but I DEFINATELY want to look into going next year! Thanks again, I knew I could count on you guys here to know!:3dSMILE:
