Check out my dash. I need some input.
It just got done getting powder coated. I need to fill the hole where the old radio was, any idea's? I was thinking about using the face of the old radio to fill it but the old radio doesn't look very clean. Also I couldn't find the dash part that goes right under the clock like the one right under the speedo. Any ideas where I can buy that part?

I don't know about the piece that goes under the clock, but I have an idea for the radio punchout. Fashion a rectangular piece of black lucite to fit the area. Now fashion a piece the same size and shape from clear lucite. Drill a small hole in each corner through both pieces. Go to the hardware and get some button-head stainless bolts (the kind you tighten with an Allen wrench) and lock nuts. Cut out good, clear photos of your loved ones and glue them to the black lucite. Place the clear lucite over the photos and screw the whole mess to the dash.

Hey tech, great idea but I wouldn't have the heart to cut up my family pictures, so I think I'll leave them in the house.1941 Chevy Special deluxe
