52 chevh up grades-s10 frame?

my 52 wheel base is 115 width approx. 66 can I put it on a s10 pu frame. I do realize I would most likely need to cut some of the rear floor a bit.
is this change to much?

Probably be a whole lot better off upgrading the suspension and brakes on the original frame.... Along with changing the rear floor, plan on altering the radiator support, all the body mounts, inner fenders, and a host of other things

It is a popular swap but I have a soft spot for those old straight axle trucks and I personally would do what dave says. You can upgrade to a car rear end and an open driveline, then use car hubs/rotors and the later tapered bearings

For what it's worth the long wheelbase S10 is a 117 inch wheelbase but it's gonna be kind of narrow for that application.

I am putting a 1946 Chev 1/2 ton pickup on a 87 S10 Frame. Now I have a Disk brakes front and back, a limited slip differential, powered by a 350 SBC and a TH 350 transmission.

I've been looking at a similar one for my '51 chev pick-up:

It says to swap out the rear for a 4x4 axle or use spacers. I found a frame with the complete drivetrain for $150. Do you have any pictures of yours?

I will post some pics of my set up tomorrow. I am really impressed with how easy this kit was to install. Each piece was professionally engineered and manufactured. The guy that owns the company is great to talk to and extremely helpful. The money spent on the E-Z Swap kit was well worth it.

yea definately, I'm very interested in your build. I've started collecting parts for mine but I have to finish the Model A first. Hopefully I'll be starting this winter. You should start a build thread then I'll know exactly what to do:D .

Did you put a disc brake kit on the rear, I didn't think they had that until '97?

Just so that we are straight, I'm building a 1946 Chevy 1/2 pickup, so our builds will be different. But I wanted to show you the kit I got from E-Z Swap Chassis. They have a kit for your truck also.
