Ok so i have a 76 cutlass with a mild motor and it has a 10 bolt posi in it with 243 ratio gears. I also have a 68 cutlass with a 10 bolt with 373 ratio one tire fryer. So the question is will the gears out of the 68 work in the 76 with out changing the carrier out of the 76, the 76 is a slug and needs more gearing 16.55 1/4 @86 mph but i cant get in to 2nd gear till past the 1/8 mile
