    back in the old days we use to cut them with 1000 or 600 and buff them with old super red lable 3m was about 1000grit the machine rubbing is not as heavy cut i never used any finer then 1500 used 1200 and wool then went to foam that seem to get them dead flat

    thats the way i started, then we went all foam and extra cut with swirl mark remover.. !! awsome stuff.
