I posted on your other thread, but just noticed these pictures. Boy, do I ENVY you and your Wife.................this thing is very cool. I think I see the gap you are talking about in the picture. Do the careful measuring I described, and see how the right compares to the left. I bet when the floor and all was cut out it was welded up without being properly jigged up. Quite a bit was removed from the car, it looks like in the pictures, and the misalignment may have occurred then.

As for the rust removal, a great car like this deserves the best..........I would have it media blasted again and etch prime it right away.
