In the sister site to CHR (Club Cobra), there is a thread regarding a car being built by the Kirkham guys in Utah. It is at least two orders of magnitude above most cars built today....

Great looking car!!! The body is very nice and the chassis is just about beyond description!!!!
Wow! An unbelieveable effort!
The pictures go on and on...the customer gave them an unlimited budget to make a billet frame.....with their CAD horsepower and their CNC shop, it looks like they are doing a real nice job.....next should be a 32 roadster with similar underpinnings....now, where is that PowerBall ticket???

The other day my broker was quizzing me on what would be a good car project for he and his high school aged son to get into. Hmmmmm.......maybe I should steer him into one of these. It'd be nice to participate in something that gets into HIS wallet for a change.:LOL:
When David first started on this project (I knew he was up to something when he showed me the ex military lathes he had just bought) I told it he was either a complete genius or had far too much time on his hands :D ..........Of course from the work that his company puts out (if you ever meet him, ask him about the aluminum 34 Ford he built for Ford), we know him to be a real genius, and a very humble down to earth one at that.

Unbelievable. We have some friends locally that were given cart blanc on a hot rod project, that was beautiful. But this just takes it to the Nth degree! Very cool.
