if any of you have ever owned or seen a 78-81 Camaro you've seen the nose plastic nose cones for the front end. while they make the car look great, they are incredibly delicate, when my brother crashed mine into a ditch it tore the bottom of the nose cone and a website i had that reproduced them just recently discontinued them, does anyone know any good websites i can use to order a brand new one? think a body shop would repair it somehow?
NPD or Classic Industries probably carries them. that is a common part to need replaced.. I'd bet that the company that you knew sold them, paused sales because the orders were so backed up on them

3M makes a variety of different products that work quite well on these front ends, check with a 3M supplier and he'll get into his product catalog and show you which product works for what function of the repair.....
my camera is broke right now but its not a bad tear really. its probably an 8 inch tear on the right side. thanks for the info though.
If it's a nice straight tear it shouldn't be too bad too fix.... I did one awhile back that was in 3 pieces, it was a real challenge....Quote:

Find a body shop that has a plastic welder , as with the right Plastic stick ( formulated for your type bumper cover ) they may fix it for you , it might be fairly expensive , but maybe not as expensive as a new front cover ;)
