Sure, here you go. It's just some 3/8" plate that mounts to the three spindle bolts. Some guy on the P15D24 site came up with this swap several years ago and posted all the info so I cant take credit for it. This is the third one I've done and they really work well.

Hope you all had a great turkey day. I had 4 days off so I finished the brakes, put the tail lights on and finished all that wiring, and finished building the exhaust. The bumpers are pretty rough but I don't want to spend the dough on a re-chrome right now so they are going to get painted silver for now. The goal now is have this thing on the road this spring even if I have to go back and finish some odds and ends later.

Better to paint them the same as the body colour.
    Silver paint always looks terrible.

    Just my .02 cents

That's one look I never did like; I'm going to try and find something close to the stainless steel trim color. Eventually I'll either get these re-chromed or buy new ones. What budget I have now is going to go for interior.

Leave it as is for now, maybe use a little turtle wax to preserve it until your ready to rechrome.

I'm on a 5 day off stretch from work so I've been hitting this pretty hard. The front end was together loose without cotter pins so I went through it with my caster/camber/toe gauge, got everything aligned, tightened down, and put in all the pins. I finished up the trunk latch and now it closes, locks, and all the lights work. I needed a center console for the radio and some cup holders so I took a couple of old metal shelves I saved and build that, just need to do a little bondo and paint on it. I also had bought a polishing wheel for all the stainless trim and needed to build a stand for it so that's done. Today I'm taking a break, tomorrow I have one more day off to get a little more done.

    Contrasting primary colors always pop.

Red or blue on the bumpers?

Consider powder coating, I've seen some silver p.c. that has a fair resemblance to chrome.

I found some silver that looks close to stainless; probably use that for a temporary until I either come up with a better set of bumpers or have the originals re-chromed.

I bought this T-bird backseat several years ago and narrowed it to fit; I dug it out today and built a base for it to sit on and snap into. Now I just need to build some brackets to mount the back pieces, make a couple of curved filler pieces for the backs, and make a center piece to go between the backs. Once that's done I'm sending the springs up to the sandblaster. Also test fit my console; needs a little tweaking but looks pretty good.

Very nice work! I really like your using the shelves to build the console. I will steal that idea when i get around to it on my 40. On my 40 the bumpers were painted mexichrome when I got it. I thought they looked hideous. I sanded them and painted them gloss black and it looked a lot better I felt. But silver goes nice with white.

Hah! Mexi-chrome sound like some new Taco Bell dish. I'll have two chalupas and a mexichrome with extra cheese.
