65 Ranchero Frame Project.
Well Finally welded the front part of the frame together yesterday.
Just basically boxed it, Got a 3in. drop under the cab from the front end.
The back end comes up 10in. from the center cab section.
I have not attached the back yet, this way I can move it a little more easy.
I moved every thing outside in pieces yesterday, and worked on it all day.
See I don't weld in my wooden shop as not to burn it down.
Well at the end of the day I got a supprise, I thought I was gonna move it back in to the shop by my self, WRONG!!!!
That 10 gage 2X3 is a little heavier then I thought it was.
Had to go get a buddy to help me move it back into the shop, and that was all I could handle. Next time I move it, I'm gonne setup the mock engine and trany, to get the mounts lined up where they need to be.
And I think I'll get three extra guys next time to move it.
Kurt
