Satin Black Paint
This is going sound like a stupid question, but are California Dusters safe to use on satin black paint? I know flattened black can't be waxed or it'll lose its sheen. The reason I ask is California Dusters contain paraffin wax in the cotten threads. I couldn't imagine it being enough to effect the finish, but I wanted to check before I try one on the car.

I just saw a thread on this subject elsewhere, and one guy said the more he uses his duster the better it works on satin black. Others said they use windex on a cloth.

I have a friend with a satin black '30 low-boy coupe that swears by the duster and an aquaintence with a satin black HD chopper that uses "only Windex, ever".
My Cobra had a satin black frame and firewall and I'd use my duster on the visible areas in the engine compartment with no noticeable difference...FWIW

Not a stupid question, it would be stupid if you did not ask and ruined your paint job.
