kind of hard to even get paint to stick to chrome without peeling off .
why not take something small like a dremal/roto tool and scuff just the area your wanting to paint ,not grind...> scuff , and make sure you hit the pits real good and use some allsteel or metal two part . Work it as much as you can before it dries then sand it down and paint it .

I dont even remember anything youve posted. I was asking because I have a frame that I have welded up some holes on and It has some small pits and low spots. I was looking for something to fill in to paint since I did not want to weld and grind for such small imperfections. Calm down I am not going out of my way to correct your post
