Hydratech Brake Booster
I'm working on a '66 Caprice Kingswood Estate Wagon.

It has a 327 with a little too much cam to make adequate vacuum to run the vacuum brake booster effectively (8 in-Hg max). I'm about to switch out the vacuum brake booster with a hydraulic booster from Hydratech.

I was just wondering if any of you have any experience or opinions on this system.

I saw one of these installations in the tech line last Friday night and asked the owner about it. He really bragged on it, saying that installation was simple and performance was excellent.

It sounds great by what ive read. but if you have front drum brakes you cant use it, It requires power steering, And if your power steering system is not in top condition you will have to make it so. If your covered there it sounds great.
