Wiring Question

Got a 1946 Ford with a tail light problem. It's got the LED tail lights, the brake lights and blinkers are bright, but the running lights are very dim. And when the car is switch off the LED tail lights stay on but it's very dim. Can't see that they are on unless its dark are your very close. And in a day or two it runs the battery down. Any suggestion on the problem. Thanks

Spent most of it's life in Oklahoma then a few years in Florida and now Georgia.

It's a 1946 Ford Business Coupe, Porsche Performance Red with 350 chevy engine, 350 GM Trans and 9 in ford rear end. Everything has been shaved, has electric windows, concealed switches inside, Old air R-12, Lecarra Steering Wheel, 4" dropped front axle.

As my son would say...SWEET!

Don't know anything about LED's, but remember reading somewhere that they require an additional load in the circuit to operate properly??????

Do you happen to know much about the car's "Oklahoma" history? I'm originally from there. It would be cool & weird if I knew the Okies that owned it!! LOL! Looks like a "Sweet" ride!

Interesting......my cousin lived in Meeker for a few years in the 80's and early 90's. I'll ask her if she knew of this guy....

randyr just talked to the guy in OK. very nice car guy, he bought it from someone in OK. that did all the work. He said that guy found the car in a field and turned it into the Rod it is today. Original all steel car and original seats. Wish I had a picture of it in that field.
