What I have the problem with is that I have done all of the priming, sealing and basing that is on it to that point! No contaminates...like I said, EVERYTHING was done at the same time!!There is a coat of sealer under everything (remember, it came from another shop where it was messed up). 3 coats of urethane (2 part) primer and 4 coats of purple base. And it did THIS on top of all that, but ONLY on the fiberglass parts???
with all of the graphics being sprayed at the same time with the car assembled... AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in the process of getting the doors and hood sanded back down and rebasing, and I'm nervous it will happen again!!!! Hopefully I'll hear something back from my rep today... I'm Skeer'd!!
If its not worth doing right, its not worth doing... Donny, MaxxMuscle Custom Painting

I have had brand new tac rags do this to me ( Crystal brand )
Also have had a bad batch of tape that had some kind of contaminate on it fish eye too .
Didnt look like the main base had any problems but the stripe did , Or you had some type of contaminate get on it as it was out side and W&G remover just smeared it around instead of cleaning .
The dealership I work at is right under our airport flight line , and I have baby fish eye problems every now and again when a Big Jet lands as they dump fuel and I suck it in through fresh air intake of my booth .
So many possibilities , its sometimes hard to pin point
".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
