put a 12 bolt chevy in it and its wont be so expensive

Camaro /Nova 12 bolts START at $800 to $1100 here IF you can find one + shipping is outrageuos from elsewhere so a RE swap is NOT going to happen, The 9" is already in there, plumbed and race ready except for the chunk. I am not that hung up on GM parts for GM cars + Gear changes are too hard (+ SPENDY) on that type of rearend anyway, In my mind a 12 bolt is never considered unless its already in the car. In fact I have not run one in almost 28 years in anything, cost and usabilty are always the priority's. The 12 bolt fails all the way there,But that is just me and my opinion.

U.M.P. changed the rule for the modifieds and will allow quick changes for 2008.
That means theres lotsa deals on 9 inch stuff on the circle burner websites.
