Engine ID

Tring to ID engine in my first hot rod build. # on case passenger side is C4U106L7 V0925TUU. I was told it is a Chevy 350. Any help or links will be greatly appreciated. Also ID on my car VIN # 136177Z141775, whats the diff between the Malibu and the chevelle
