You talking about this style headlight, or something different?
Yes they look correct. I'm running a set of King Bee's now with sealed halogen bulbs , how much trouble and expense will it be to install those commercial truck lights that you have . Also sweet flame job on the 34" cant even imagine how much that cost!! Your car looks great! I would insert a picture of my car if I could figure out how to do it on this @$#*% web sight!
That's actually not my car, its my best friend's. I know the lights are available, and are called "34 Commericial" style. About 300.00 a pair with the halogen bulbs already installed. The stands are original 34 Ford headlight stands, mounted in the stock location. I will tell him you like his car... he's had it since 1991 and has put over 65,000 miles on it. The flame job is new this season. Here's a close up of some of the airbrush work. BTW, to attach a pic just click "manage attachments" underneath where you type in your text. it will allow you to select a photo from your hard drive. -JB
thanks, the info helps I have found that the problem isn't with the lights but the headlight stands themselves! I was told nobody reproduces them. Is this true or does someone know where I can purchase these. Well I still cant get a picture attached the upload manager says my pic exceeds the 390 limit,so I have king-bee style on the car now, and the fenders have a flat spot on them for the mounting base . will this be a problem when mounting the headlight stands for the 34 commercial lights?
Depends on if the flat spot is in the stock location... here's where the spot is on my buddy's fenders...His car is a Gibbon body btw, built back in the late 80's/early 90's when Gibbon quality was still good.
BTW, did you check with Bob Drake? I can't imagine no one reproduces original 34 ford headlight stands.
"Backorder Bob" Drake sells the shorty ones in steel and stainless; http://store.bobdrake.com/misclightitems1.htmlQuote:

Thanks Bob and Joe, this info really helped. Joe that looks close to my mounting pad but mine is dead flat and level with the road and does not have a second hole for the carriage bolt to the right in your pic. so I don't think the original headlight stands will work without major surgery to the fenders. looks like I will have to use my old stands from my king-bees I think that will work If it does I will post an update.
Uncle Bob, the links you gave me were great they have everything I need to make the conversion this is why I love this forum!!!
No problem... hope you figure out a way to do it... I love the look of the big lights on a 34.
