I need to shorten the metal trans cooler lines in my car. The original Pontiac engine sat farther back in the car than the small block Chevy I put in. Can I use fuel line to splice them back together after I shorten them? I'm not sure if fuel line will stand up to transmission fluid over time? Info much appreciated,
