Im planning on replacing the 255/60/15s on my lowered 75 Chevy stepside.
I was thinking about 275/60/15s , there a 28" tall tire compared to my 255s wich are 27" tall.
The truck has 4.11 gear, its to damn steep with this size tire. I see now that Hoosier has a pro Street radial thats 29" tall & 10" wide tread. with 29" tall I dont think Id have to get rid of the 4.11s.
BFG Comp TA Drag Radials come in a simialer size to. Im conserned about how theyd wear. Im sure theyd hook better than the Hoosier Pro Streets.
Its not a daily driver...more a weekend play toy, but I need traction to with the 454. But if I wanted to head to Springfield MO for CarCraft, I want a tire thatll last.
The hoosiers are about 220.00 compared to the Drag Radials @ about 150.00 any opinions ?
