PCV size?
Ok, just finished reading a wonderful article in wiccopedia ( sp ? ) about the PCV, and I actually learned a thing or two. Not a small accomplishment considering how long I have been dinking with engines. Anyway..
couple of questions come to mind: Is there any advantage from a performance stand point to having the vent to atmosphere as compared to the breather? I am assuming that you would have a slightly enriched fuel mixture by running the vent to the breather.
Second: how does one choose the appropriate PCV for a modified engine? Any suggestions for a chev. 350 with mild cam?
Also< I don't think I'll ever wrap my brain around the fact that the intake has almost no vacuum at WOT, but I do accept it as I have heard it too many times. SO.. that being a given: the sizing of the PCV is only relevent at idle-to-part throttle?.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
