How much of a problem would it be to put in either a 322 or 364 Nailhead Buick engine in place of my sbc.? Do they make an adapter for the tranny to fit a 350TH. This would go in my 37 chevy truck.

i am doing a 425 nail head and parts getting hard to find . but i all ways like the strait up valve covers .i think some makes adapter it would not be to bad to make one if you could not find one the old nail head has the old bop and caddy round bell housing
These guys have adapters for almost any configuration, plus they'll help with some engineering/machining. They have the adapters broken down into year groupings instead of c.i. sizes. Check 'em out and good luck.

The early trans are hard to find and expensive to rebuild and not real strong.
