If it is a posi. make sure you add an oil suplement for the posi. clutch's.

Red Line 75/90......Good stuff....
Good question, I am just getting ready to fill up the S10 rear in my T. Do you guys just recommend the same thing? I was going to go to the Chevy parts dept, but maybe not necessary??

Royal Purple Max Gear 75W90. No need for any clutch additives with this one ........

I'm using Valvoline 85W140. 3:70 Posi. Is that not a good thing.Label says for high temp.,performance, and anti slip recommended.
The gears usually come with the required oil info for them,if a swap was done.
I am using AMSOIL fluids in mine. 0w30 in the engine, Supershift in the trans. and severe gear in the rear (no need for additive).Quote:

I have never had a bad experience with synthetics. I have used Mobil1 in the past, but switched to AMSOIL since they back their products up with a guarantee. Every one of their products have worked well for me. After a couple of years, of AMSOIL usage I decided to become a dealer.Quote:
