Having lived in the country for many years and at one time having an abandoned farm on my land, I got tired of telling people to get out and usually just called the Sheriff's office and let one of the deputy's explain to people that trespassing was not a good plan......

If you lived in the end,of the town I live in you just might think that is 'a criminals reverse psychology talk' and that 2007 is the year that it needs to be stepped up.MATTER OF FACT,,,,had a cop tell me within the past week,(true story here),that if my neighbor wants to bring his saw,come in my yard and cut my entire tree down,the cops can't do a thing! No,I know better.Don't pacify and rationalize criminal actions,prosecute and punish them swiftly.Trespassing is wrong.If the shooter is wrong,prosecute him,but the trespasser should be 'paid for' or allow trespassing everywhere and all the time.
