How to build a '33 Ford???

Yeah, blue oval all the way. I think a well built S/B with a Vortec blower is the way I want to go.

I would be kicked out of the Capital Area Cobra Club if they knew I wanted windows:LOL: . The F5 is a rush to drive and gets plenty of attention, but it is a fair weather friend. I think the Cobra replica is a great start point to see if you really want to invest your every waking moment (and available penny) into building your own car from scratch. I know the '33 will be a much more involved and expensive build, but now I know I love it.

The only pics I've seen of the seats installed is Article 175 on seatbelts under the interior section. One word of caution I'd suggest, if those Tea's Design seats appeal to you, is see if you can find them at a major rod run, or contact Tea's and see if there's a dealer near you. You'll want to sit in one of them for a while and see if they work for you. The way they've made the, what I would call, "exaggerated" lumbar doesn't work for my back. Other's I've known swear by them. It's one of those personal fit items that needs thorough examination.

I have a Troy Minnotti 33 coupe. I like you Matt are 6'4". I am using a Teas bench seat in the coupe. I love it. With the seat fully laid back my arms are fully extended to grab the wheel. The seat can only be mounted in one position in the Minnotti. In other words it will not slide forward (hits the doors). Because of where the seat mounts it does not need to slide forward, the back raise and lower is all the adjustment I need. On long hauls I can put my left foot size 12 between the steering column and headlight dimer switch and completley stretch out. I have had sedans but like you I love the coupe. Problem with the Minnotti I think Troy down in Naples Florida retired.
