I use Microsoft Project. Every specific task is defined with start and end dates and/or linked to the others via predecessors. Each task is also loaded with appropriate resources and process control documents and drawings as needed with pointers to all critical interface control documents ................

No wait that's what I have to do at work. For the Rod I spend a few minutes at night winding down in bed thinking of what I need to do next and how best to proceed. I try to research the crap out of everything in here and on the web before acting or buying, technically speaking. I keep all the receipts and take digital photos of everything and one of these days I will make a book about the car's creation.
