Whats the way to go? Lead? Fiberglass? Kitty Hair? I know they used to use lead on "Lead Sleds", And i know its not that safe, but does anyone use this anymore?

I really dont want to dissasemble everything and i dont have access to a welder right now, so i need some suggestions on how to do this.
