Another Tall Block?
Ive been doing alot of reading on the building of a 427 tall deck, in the wee hours of the mornin...lol I was wondering if I could shoe horn one in a 69 camaro that has A/C, and still be able to run the A/C?? The other thing is could I sqeeze it under a factory cowl hood? Would this motor be good for a daily street aplication? I am planning on runnig a standard trans, like a 5 or 6spd with a 12 bolt/ 3:23s.... Or I was thinking about building a 377 small block... Or should I just try to find a 454? I want some good street power and reliablity....
I read alot on making the 427t a big cube screamer, and Im all ears...
My uncle has a 68 RS/SS rag top with a stout 396/4spd, I would would like to build something to wipe him up and down the street...
Thanks
Harmon
Sorry for grammar/ spelling Im purdy tired
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
Time for brakes
