all right guys, soon it will be time to take the truck to my friends and put it on the lift, start installing power steering and power brakes. Talked to my uncle and he said we should box it by welding an inch, skipping two or three then welding another inch. but I don't think that is how it is supposed to be done.

I was thinking we should step box it (skip grinding and weakening the welds any). I have the 10ga. already. I would just like some pics of what you guys have ended up with, how you butted the ends up together etc.

And what are the clips called that are used to attach the lines to the frame? I know I read it somewhere around here but cannot remember.
