I have a 96 dodge ram 1500 5.9L truck and i have the catback system for dual exhaust. i want to turn it into true dual so i was going to just not put another catalitic converter in but still have the stock one in on the one side. will this screw up my computer chip of do anything harmful to my engine?

ps if i did this it would be an X pipe to equal the sound and pressure.
