Thread: king pin measuremnt need help

Have to order king pins on 65 ford half ton pickup my question is pin end to keeper length one kit says 3.1 inches other says 2.47 inches are they talking about bottom of king pin back up sorry for such a question just trying to make sure I am meassuring right thank you in advance for any comments

Thought I would rephrase question with king pin's still in truck do you measrure from bottom of spindle arm up to key way. Spindle arm is close to being 1 inch in other words how far through spindle arm dose king pin go?
Also bottom arm has recess going up so kinda hard to judge where king pin stops.
