    I have an S10 rearend under the roadster pickup---works great. Granted, the abuse it takes from my weary old 305 doesn't really compare to a 5 litre, but I know in my rpu that it will never hook up enough to hurt it amyways.

    We twisted the pinion off with a 350 in an S10. Not a really tough rear end.
