Sounds like the pitman shaft seal, easy fix if ya got the right tools, Ya need a pitman arm puller, get the pitman arm off and the internal c- clip out of the steering box that holds the seal in put a bucket under the box fill the resevoir with fluid start the engine turn the steering wheel and it should blow the seal out, install new seal & c-clip and re install the pitman arm.
repair shops get around a hundred bucks to do it.....
