I saw a couple of L.A rodders installing somekind of special ignition system to 55' olds engine in a tv show.they said that it was an ol' school trick or something. Ring a bell??

Pertronix has great conversion kits for almost any point type distributor. They are cheap, simple, and work fine. My 394 Olds is going to get one.

Don got it!!! Make sure the distributor bushings are good and tight and the advance mechanisms work good then just add a Petronix conversion and a good coil. They work fine, last a long time.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
