Brake Booster Question
I'm in the process of updating my brake system on my 66 Ford Unibody truck.
It's already received a front disc brake conversion (GM style) and STILL has the single mater cyclinder & factory drum rear brakes.
I did pick up a dual GM style Wilwood master to replace the single res. & wanted to add a booster.......
Now my question:
Do I need to utilize one of those monster sized GM boosters or......can I substitute something a bit more.......better suited for the smaller space I have?

All depends on how much leg effort you can live with and how much manifold vacuum you're developing.

Or.....................go the hydrobooster route.

I don't think I've got a vacum issue that would require the hydrobooster but probably a dual valve unit.
Has anyone here replaced their unit on a 60-66 Form F1?

Is that the old Ford 4 bolt booster, about 11" or so??? I used an 8" dual diaphragm on my Merc, and will be getting another one for my '71 pickup. They use a 4 bolt mount and a 2 bolt master cylinder that has line fittings on both sides which is really handy for clearance issues.....
