Here is what I have, i have a 1940 Chevy with stock suspension. It look slike it has been updated back in 89 when the car had a body off. The steering box is a vega (I think) and the upper control arm on the pass side needs a bushing. Its not too bad but it needs to be replaced. I dont have the $$ fora mustang II fornt end so I am going to try and make this work. The car drives great till you get past 55 mph. Then teh front end shakes pretty good. I took it and had an allignment put on it and the guy said it was fine and didnt need anything allignment wise. What do I need to look at besides the upper control arm bushing for this shaking problem???? The tires are new and the wheels are balanced. I havent looked at teh bearings yet but teh wheel seems to have no slack in it. Thanks for any support on this matter. p.s. if anyone is near Fairfield CA and wants to look at it I'd be happy to show it. I need to find a mechanic I can trust do some work as the wife is in Afganistan and i have two small children under the age of 3 I am taking care of and just dont have the time to work on it to make it safe. Thanks again. K9
