OK - I haven't spent my life around cars and engines as many here have but -
383ci = 228hp ????
Are you sure you didn't mistype 383 as 283????

my desktop dyno shows 358 hp @ 3500 rpm. those are typically at the crank #s

I am beginning to think I read the graph wrong, I was only down there to pick up his brand new steel crank and rods and pistons. I will see if he can email the graph to me.
